The IAQ50 is an innovative synthesis of three different functions: a high performance airfoil control damper, an airflow monitoring station, and a programmable controller, with the airflow station built into the damper frame.
The new IAQ50 assures that a building's ventilation system performs to the ASHRAE 62 standard, and it even provides documentary evidence to facility managers. Because of its compact size and unique versatility, the IAQ50 allows for installation into standard air handling unit construction, old or new, without any special system construction requirements, and also universally integrates with building automation systems.

Ruskin Manufacturing, Kansas City, MO, announces another industry first in Indoor Air Quality dampers, the Ruskin [model:13553]AMS50[/model] air measuring station. This new assembly is engineered and manufactured to give customers the ability to provide their own control package to coordinate with their building automation system and set CFM requirements in the field. The AMS50 has been tested and certified to meet AMCA Standard 611-95 for Airflow Measurement Performance. It combines control damper and flow measurement stations in one assembly and the standard construction includes an air strengthener section for reduced duct length requirements. In addition, the controller and actuator can be field or factory supplied.
